About the job

The main role of the Manager ICT is to develop, coordinate and maintain our ICT infrastructure and to take on an active role on defining and rolling out OPRA’s digitalization strategy.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop, implement & maintain IT Policy and align with OPRA Strategy;
  • Plan & execute yearly IT Budget;
  • Manage external IT Support on basis of agreed SLA’s;
  • Active role in coordinating implementations of new IT applications;
  • Maintain continuity of IT Infrastructure & all necessary licenses;
  • Continuously improve OPRA’s IT landscape, including data storage concepts, communication, collaboration and connectivity platforms;
  • Active role in OPRA’s Digitalization strategy with all stakeholders;
  • Set-up & deploy Cybersecurity policy linked to OPRA’s Strategy;
  • Report on IT based on agreed KPI’s.


In this role you will be interacting with all departments of OPRA, hence be instrumental bringing change to the whole company. You can have significant impact as a key enabler of OPRA’s operational and strategic performance. You will hierarchically report into the Manager Finance & Administration.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field;
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Experience within industry and production environment;
  • Experience with implementation of new applications;
  • Experience with ERP implementation is a plus;
  • English and Dutch language and communication skills (verbal and writing);

About the selection procedure

After reviewing the received applications, OPRA Turbines will contact the applicants of interest for a first selection interview. In the second selection round the candidate is asked to prepare a presentation based on a case. Moreover, another interview will take place and a tour around our facility will be provided. We intend to close this vacancy by the end of May.
